Plot Summary:
After the shocking events in New York and the death of Rorschach, the fragile peace Ozymandias forged begins to crumble. Nations suspect the truth, alliances fracture, and whispers of betrayal spread across the globe.
Laurie Blake (Silk Spectre) and Dan Dreiberg (Nite Owl) try to navigate life outside the mask, while Ozymandias struggles with the weight of his impossible lie. But when fragments of Rorschach’s journal resurface, the world begins to question what really happened that night.
Meanwhile, on the edge of existence, Doctor Manhattan stirs once more—his gaze fixed on humanity, torn between detachment and redemption. A new age of masked vigilantes rises, some inspired by the old Watchmen, others determined to burn the system down.
